CVIIC Strategic Plan: “The Day After: Implementing Comprehensive Immigration Reform in California’s Central Valley”
The Central Valley Immigrant Integration Collaborative (CVIIC) has its origins in a regional immigration convening held in Fresno on October 25, 2013. The convening was held in order to bring together representatives from a wide range of agencies and organizations interested in building the regional capacity for an eventual comprehensive immigration reform.
This landmark event began the process of strategic planning which continues to take place. It resulted in a document, “The Day After: Implementing Comprehensive Immigration Reform in California’s Central Valley”, produced by a team of consultants that included Manuel Pastor, Rachel Rosner and Anthony Perez. The plan was completed in late January 2014 and made public to CVIIC partners on February 2014.
