CVIIC Participates in Equity on the Mall 2018!

CVIIC Participates in Equity on the Mall 2018, a landmark event being held in Sacramento on February 8 in order to bring the voices of Central Valley residents to the State Capitol.

Equity on the Mall is an annual event organized by the San Joaquin Valley Health Fund. It has drawn the participation of scores of community based organizations from San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kings and Kern counties.

It is an exciting event that has brought together hundreds of participants from Central Valley communities.

Participants have brought to the attention of state policymakers their concerns and interests in issues that include: housing, equitable access to health care, immigration, land use, education, air and water quality, and many more topics.

CVIIC is proud to participate in Equity on the Mall 2018. We will be leading a bus of Fresno residents that will be departing on February 8, 2018 at approximately 6:30 AM. The return trip from Sacramento to Fresno will begin at about 2:00 PM. Participation in the CVIIC bus is open to community members and representatives of our partner organizations. Participation is free and deadline to register is Tuesday, February 6 at noon.

¡CVIIC Participa en Equity on the Mall 2018!

CVIIC se enorgullece en participar en el evento Equity on the Mall 2018. el evento se llevará a cabo el 8 de febrero del 2018.  CVIIC invita a representantes de nuestras organizaciones socias y miembros de la comunidad a unirse a este importante evento.

Equity on the Mall es un evento anual organizado por el San Joaquin Valley Health Fund. Al evento asisten residentes del Valle Central que radican en los condados de San Joaquín, Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kings y Kern.

Equity on the Mall cumple con la función de reunir a cientos de residentes del Valle Central para presentar ante autoridades estatales en el Capitolio los puntos de vista e intereses de nuestras comunidades en el Valle Central, particularmente sobre temas como vivienda, acceso equitativo a cobertura de salud, inmigración, uso de suelo, educacion, calidad de agua y aire, y muchos temas más.

CVIIC encabezar un autobús que partirá de Fresno el 8 de febrero, aproximadamente a las 6:30 de la manana. El viaje de regreso del Capitolio se ha programado para las 2:00 PM. Participation en el autobús es completamente gratuita pero es indispensable registrarse antes del martes 6 de febrero a mediodía. Los pasajeros de nuestro autobús recibirán comida y bebidas gratuitamente.
